There Is a Place for You in the Work
The mission of the Church in Greater Austin does not belong only to pastors or ministry professionals. God has placed His people in congregations, neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, ministries, nonprofits, and institutions throughout the region.
Working with the Society helps those people find one another, understand the city together, and carry work that should not be carried alone. It is an invitation to shared participation, not an employment category or membership status, and it does not require every person or organization to make the same commitment. You may begin through prayer, learning, gathering, generosity, or a defined piece of shared responsibility.

Take a Step From Where You Are
Pray With Us
Pray for nearby congregations, neighborhoods, leaders, and communities with the Society’s regional guides.
Learn With Us
Use the research, interpretation, and tools the Society publishes freely for the Church.
Gather With Us
Pray, learn, and build relationships through a public gathering or a more focused table.
Work Together
Tell the Society what you are seeing and where shared responsibility might help.
Support the Society
Help sustain the research, gatherings, tools, relationships, and coordination the Society provides.
Bring Us the Work You’re Carrying
If you are trying to address a missionary gap, convene the right people, understand a place more clearly, or build something churches could carry together, tell us what you are seeing.
We will read what you send, pray about it, and let you know whether a conversation would be useful.
Thank you.
You Already Belong to Christ’s Body
“Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.”
— 1 Corinthians 12:27 (ESV)
Working with the Society does not make anyone part of the Church in Austin. If you belong to Christ, you already belong to His people here. These pathways simply help us find one another, learn from one another, and carry shared work in love.
