Our Vision
We long to see the gospel of Jesus shared and the kingdom of God expressed in the Greater Austin Metropolitan area.
We hope this will include churches, ministries, leaders, and disciples unified in a collaborative, yet diverse approach that impacts the metropolitan area with the love of Christ and the hope of the resurrection that overflows to the nations.
Our Mission
The Greater Austin Mission Society exists to serve, connect, and support churches, ministries, non-profits, leaders, and disciples in Austin. Its goal is to work together with disciples, leaders, churches, and ministries to advance the gospel, care for the marginalized, and equip leaders for effective service locally and globally.
What We Do
We help churches, ministries, disciples, and leaders connect to one another and collaborate for kingdom expansion.
Gospel partnerships flow from the bedrock of relationships of trust, and we want to build bridges where we can.
We believe intercession, church planting, evangelism, mercy and justice, work and faith, Christian institutions, and leadership development are key components of city reaching.
Through our research, we want to help identify gaps and create solutions for engaging all of Austin.
We trust the Spirit of God will move again in our city, and we want to help you be ready to understand the context of your part of the city.
That means we’re data-informed and Spirit-led while we keep an eye on demographics, history, and spiritual data trends.
